A Day with Dekha: Celebration of a Mother, Woman and Peace-worker

Convened by the Friends of Dekha Ibrahim Abdi, the Dekha Ibrahim Trust

with the support of PACT and Oxfam

Intention

1. To encourage Kenyans to emulate her life and dreams as a mother, woman and peace-worker and the impact that she has on Kenya, Africa and the world

2. To capture her story and use it to inspire a new generation of peace-builders in our schools and communities

3. To raise funding to meet the schooling and well-being of her children
